Sophia is a performing and teaching artist local to Atlanta, GA. For over a decade, Sophia has worked at the intersection of arts and education as an actor, director, teaching artist, curriculum and script developer, and private voice instructor.
She holds a Bachelor of Music from the NYU Steinhardt School of Music and recently completed her Master's Degree in Educational Theatre from the University of Northern Colorado. For her graduate thesis, she conducted research around personality typing systems in theatre education. She continues to research uses for the the enneagram in the theatre world and teaches workshops on the subject.
She presently runs a private voice studio outside of Atlanta for teenage and adult students, where she specializes in dramatic coaching for the musical theatre repertoire. She also teaches and directs around Atlanta and Orlando, the two areas in which she can provide local housing.
